Build an RGB Mode Cycler with ESP32

Workshops are held online during a live session. You’ll receive a join link by email and it will also be available on the Workshop Page in your Library.

To attend, you’ll need a computer with internet access. A mobile device also works, but a computer provides the best experience.

After registering, you'll be able to view the full list of required build and test equipment on the Workshop Page in your Library.

• You’re welcome to purchase items ahead of time, but it’s not required.

• We recommend watching the Live Workshop passively so you can absorb the material without rushing to keep up.

• You'll receive 7-day access to the workshop replay and resources after the event, so you can take your time to review, gather your parts, and work on the build at your own pace.

All experience or knowledge requirements are listed in the Prerequisites section of each workshop. Please make sure to review it before registering, as they can vary from one workshop to another. Some are beginner-friendly, while others may assume basic familiarity with certain tools or concepts.

Feel free to join the live workshop even if you haven’t completed the prerequisites as it's a great way to get a feel for the experience. And when you’re ready to go further, the membership will offer everything you need to move forward.

If you missed a workshop that’s part of a learning path or one you were really excited about, you can catch up at your own pace. By joining the Vman Academy Membership, you’ll get immediate access to all past workshops, including full replays, resources, and support.

Whether you missed it due to timing or just found out about it late, your interest is what matters. You’re encouraged to attend the live event, even if you haven’t met the prerequisites, just to get familiar with the workshop experience. The membership will always be waiting for you if you decide to jump in and learn.

The main teaching session runs for around 90 minutes, and an optional Q&A follows immediately after, for up to 30 minutes. If the build runs longer, the Q&A portion may be shorter, but the total session will always finish within 2 hours.

Not at all. Workshops are conducted passively, meaning you’re never put on the spot.

You can simply sit back and enjoy the session from start to finish. If you’d like, you can ask questions via chat during the Q&A segment at the end. But there’s no requirement to speak, interact, or turn on your camera — you're welcome to attend quietly the entire time.

Yes — we reserve time at the end of every workshop for live Q&A. We’ll do our best to answer questions during the live session, but due to time constraints, it’s unlikely we’ll be able to respond to everyone.
